I was looking through my blog, and I realized that I forgot an important even from last weekend!
While Pastor was here, we went to a church service at Westminster Abbey! We were at the British Museum right before. Only before we went to the Abbey, we needed to refuel so we stopped by Subway! (which isnt nearly as good an American Subway).. Once we left Subway we had 30 minutes to book it to the Abbey before service startd at 5. Let's just say we were cutting it reaaaally close.
We got off the Westminster tube station and right when we got outside Big Ben was chiming 5! Walking, its about a 5 minute walk to W. Abbey, but we ran. We got there at about 5:02 while they were saying The Lord's Payer. We had to wait until they were finished saying it and seated before we could walk to our seats.
The seats were set up dividing an isle, facing each other. So when we got there the right side of the isle was already filled with people, so we ended up getting front row seats on the left side of the isle, like serisouly 5 feet from where Kate and Will got married. And remember those chior boys that have voices of baby angels that sang at the Royal wedding? They were there too! Oh my goooodness! I've never heard anything so beautiful! Seriously..baby angels.
So we got to keep a pamphlet going through the service with some of the songs and got a little prayer book some cute old lady was handing out. So that was a great experience and once my parents get here, I'm so going back to another service!
Thanks for reading guys! Sorry I forgot about this a few posts ago!
I like your labels.... Westminister Abbey and BABY ANGELS! this sounds so fun!
